350 tons of concrete, carefully transformed into towering acoustic silos, along with 11 bases, strong enough to hold each exceedingly heavy tower, and protect the wood floor of the Park Avenue Armory.
Taryn entrusted me with the fabrication of the piece, which necessitated guiding the concrete casting company, on their first-ever endeavor making a sculpture. We had 6 days installation time, and 4 days to strike.
